Man shot in buttocks in small NSW town

A man is due to face court after shooting someone in the buttocks in a small NSW town on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.

The 28-year-old was arrested on Sunday evening, a day after police found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his right butt cheek at Darlington Point.

He was charged with multiple offences, including discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and reckless wounding in company. He was refused bail to appear at Hay Local Court on Monday.
